I got started with photography back in the 7th grade. My junior high school offered a photography class, and after enrolling, I was hooked. I learned photography on an old manual film camera, home-made box camera, developed my own film, and made enlargements by hand in a darkroom. I continued to study Photography in High School and into College.

I had the opportunity to study-abroad in France for a year on an academic scholarship, and was exposed to many beautiful scenes to capture with my camera. There I honed my skills of capturing moments as they arrive, contributing to a photojournalistic photography style.

Aside from Weddings, I am a formally-trained newborn photographer. I spent three years as a newborn photographer for several different hospitals in the Central Valley and Central Coast of California. These photographs were the intimate moments shared between new mothers and their babies in the day after the birth. These “tender moments” were of a story-telling nature, and I am privileged to have been a part of this milestone in many new parent’s lives.

I currently reside in Fresno, California, but will photograph events throughout Central California, including the Monterey and San Francisco Bay areas. I absolutely LOVE to travel, and will consider destination weddings to tropical paradise anytime! I will also offer special pricing to any wedding in France as I would love to have the opportunity to return!
