Many of our viewers may or may not have noticed the “suggest a site” button on our main menu. We developed this feature as a way for photographers/viewers to suggest their own photoblog or one they feel other viewers would be interested in. The response to this feature has been overwhelming and has been responsible generating many of the photoblogs featured in our articles.
I apologize in advance, for not doing a great job of combing through the photography submissions in a timely fashion. However, over the past few days I have whittled the backlog submissions list, which was close to 100 photoblogs, down to a manageable amount.
Due to a limited staff and blog space constraints, we cannot publish all the suggestions submitted. If you submitted blog has not been published, don’t be discouraged. Please wait 3o days and re-submit.
Here are a few blogs that caught our attention:
MannedSpace
– “I’ve been photoblogging for about two years now. I’ve scanned my father’s kodachrome slide collection, clean them up, and post them. I also travel to Europe and Russia. I also post youth sports and dance.”
- “My passion for photography began during my Army days as a creative outlet, and also to remember the places I’ve been but might never see again. Somewhere along the way a talent for capturing people and emotions quickly emerged. My life experiences have evolved into an ability to skillfully capture fleeting moments and memories in a distinctive style that blends contemporary inspiration with classic tradition. I strive to create beautiful images that are not only unique and different, but more importantly, real.”
- “Photoblog of ongoing photography project. All pictures are taken from London Double decker buses with 35mm camera with 50mm lens.”
- ” A blog I started to play with digital media posted daily (or as often as possible) collaborative in nature, open to more collaboration. I think it rules.”
Light and Dark Photoblog by Kevin Crafts (added to original posting on 11/07/08)
-“Kevin Crafts lives in Longmont, Colorado and commutes five days a week to his job as a web designer in Boulder, Colorado. This site documents his photographic journey. In addition to photographic images, Kevin is inspired by design, music, the colorado landscape, architecture, and his wife Melinda.”
