HOW IS THE COURSE TAUGHT?
The evening course is taught in small groups (no more than 10 people). The workshop will start with an intensive one hour tutorial after which you will head into the streets to put into practice your new found knowledge. The photo walk will start in Spitalfields and wind it’s way through Bishopsgate, the City and to the South Bank. You will learn how to make use of the light around you, the way the you see it, and perhaps more importantly how you want your audience to see it. The small numbers allow for discreet street photography and personalized tuition.
Everyone will gain something regardless of his/her specific approach or technical level. The workshop will combine concise classroom tuition and outdoor adventures, with an emphasis on putting into practice the skills gained immediately – supported by helpful guidance, care and attention.
You will carry out a number of challenges designed to exercise different techniques, practice new skills and encourage creative experimentation.
