“Liz is a Vancouver based freelance photographer from the UK. She holds a BA (hons) in Photography with Journalism and National Certificate (NCE) in Photojournalism and Videojournalism.
Her roots are in the press industry, having spent a number of years in Britain working as a regional staffer as well as being published in The Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and The Herald amongst others.
Working in press has allowed Liz to hone her skills in a number of fields, Portraiture, Fashion, Sport, Wedding, Studio and Travel to name a few. She also specialises in carrying out projects worldwide for the third sector with clients including World Vision, VAO, Concern Worldwide and Hope and Homes for Children.
Her work has been exhibited in Manchester, London, Preston and Northamptonshire. Most recently she has been part of a group exhibit within Proud Galleries London as a winner in the Renaissance Photographic Competition and came second in The Times Young Photographer of the year 2008 competition.”
While working on my next project, the photo blogs have started to pile up a bit. No disrespect was meant to the many talented photographers which took the time to submit their photoblogs! Please continue to submit your awesome photo sites, and I promise to do a better job of posting more frequently. Recently, I have actually taking a little time out from my schedule to make use of my own camera equipment…always forgot what it felt like to have one in my hands.
