“All City is all about photography – specifically San Francisco urban photography – with an occasional photo from other parts of the earth (and someday beyond!).  But what truly binds us together is San Francisco proper and its many personalities, from tourist kitsch to ocean beaches, soaring skylines to urban decay.

We are four photographers: Stuart Dixon, Brad Evans, Travis Jensen & Bob Horowitz. We are a diverse group that brings together interesting styles to provide a kaleidoscopic view of the city.

We update often, generally 3-4 times a day, sometimes more. We also feature friends and acquaintances’ photography whenever we can. San Francisco is such an awesome place to be a photographer right now!”

iN-PUBLIC | For Lovers of Street Photography

street photography society iN PUBLIC | For Lovers of Street Photography pictures

Finding a few great street photography sites during an evening of surfing is no easy task. Discovering 20 incredible street photographers is on a single site…priceless. Welcome to iN-PUBLIC. Established in 2000, iN-PUBLIC was created to “…promote Street Photography and the photographers selected “…have the ability to see the unusual in the everyday and to capture the moment.” Based on the limited number of photographers presented and the quality of the art displayed, it is easy to see this is a pretty selective organization. Some of names I am familiar with, others I are new to me..but all are excellent.

Photo Projects Wanted! We’d like to hear from you

001 300x225 Photo Projects Wanted! Wed like to hear from you picturesAs a way to add a little spice to our normal fare, I am inviting you to write in to describe any photo related projects you’re currently working on…sort of a guest blogger / interview style format. Whether you are a budding photography major, just started out to create your first photo blog, or a seasoned professional, you have a story to tell. I love reading about other photographers, and watching documentaries about photojournalism on YouTube…Here are a couple of my recent favorites.. New York City street photographers Bruce Gilden and Jamel Shabazz .

The idea behind this project is to detail the different types of photography going on all around us, to motivate us, to inspire us, and to gain a following for your works. Sound interesting?

How it works: Simply write a few paragraphs..the length is really up to you…telling us about you and your photography; where you’re located, a little background info (always adds to the story), what you’re doing in the world of photography, and what you hope to achieve..If you choose to participate, hopefully you will be open to continue to keep us updated on the latest developments in your photography world!

Be sure to include a link to your website so we can see your photography (sounds obvious, but often overlooked).

Once I receive and review your submission, I will contact you to let you know when to look for the posting.

Please send your submission to rick at ilovephotoblogs dot com.

I look forward to seeing your submissions!
