After numerous attempts at “getting organized” with all the tremendous photography you submit on a daily basis, I think I’ve come up with a solution! For the past year, one of the nagging issues I’ve had with ILovePhotoblogs was how best to showcase the photography sites and blogs to our new visitors each day. While I appreciate all my loyal readers, the truth is that new/first time visitors account for 85% of all our daily traffic!
Our solution…the ILovePhotoblogs Custom Search powered by Google. The search tool has been tuned to only search for posts from our site and photography blogs we’ve mentioned. I’ve been playing around with the WordPress template and the Google code and know you will love using this search feature. For your convenience, I’ve added the “Search” to the top menu. So, please, give our new search tool a try and let me know what you think.

…probably the last person in the world to discover Twitter Search, but I must say this application is amazing. I was never really a big fan of Twitter, since I never understood the culture. However, in my quest to find fresh photography blogs on a daily basis this may just be the answer to my prayers. Not only is Twitter Search extremely fast, but the search plugin migrates to your browser the instant you click “Install the search plugin in your browser”. Can’t speak for all browsers, but it was a snap with Firefox. No restarts, just “Bam”. Ok, I revealed too much about my ineptitude for staying on top of technology…now, back to searching with my new friend…Heck, I might even blow the dust off my own account.
