My work has been published on magazines, emags and blogs (ex. Rolling Stone, Rolling Stone Magazine, Kismet Magazine etc.).”

Eolo Perfido – Fashion and Advertising Photography

“Photography arrived quite late in my life, but fortunately passions are timeless, so at 28 I took a camera in my hands without knowing that after a while my desire would be to keep it there forever. To take pictures has become something that goes beyond the simple realization of images and has deeply changed my way of experiencing life and relating to others.

In the current years I worked for several international agencies, customers and magazines such as JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Corbis, Pepsi Cola, Kraft, Gatorade, Novartis, The New York Times, Panorama First, Vision, Vogue Russia, GQ Russia to name some of them.

In the last years I’ve been also honored to assist Steve McCurry in several of his shootings in Europe, Africa and South America.

I was born in Cognac (France) in February 1972.

I live in Rome and work all over the world.”

Light-Opinion | Rome Italy Photoblog

20080514000852 sziget girls 300x199 Light Opinion | Rome Italy Photoblog picturesGreat photography blog, Light-Opinion, based in Rome, Italy. Awesome collection of color and black and white photographs. I was particularly impressed with the wide variety of imagery this photographer produces. The landscapes are well composed with a unique perspective, no postcard feel here. The portraits display an unique blend of journalistic and editorial style…and a great eye for character studies. While color and black & white images are presented, the color is only used where color is needed to make the image..I’ve always had a soft spot for b & w photography, and Light-Opinion is spot-on with tonal range..black blacks, white whites, detail in shadows, and proper contrast control.

Here is a brief excerpt from the photographer’s bio…“Born in 1976, somewhere in Italy, at dinner time (more or less). I’m currently living in Rome. My first camera was a twenty-year old (and more than 1kg-heavy) Miranda and I do still prefer b/w photos printed on high-contrast paper so, please, don’t ask me why I’ve set up a photoblog.I hope someone will be so kind to explain me what “light opinion” means. Meantime I’ll try to show you which my light opinion is”…”I’d like to upload a new shot everyday, but I already know that I won’t be able to keep this promise. I’ll try to be patient with myself, anyway.”
