Static photography was born out of a passion for all things photographic and a desire to share that passion with others. Capturing the world around us – be it people, architecture, shelves in bathrooms – excites us which is why we do it well.
Photographically we will not be constrained to any limits and that’s what keeps it exciting for us. We take advantage of everything digital technology has to offer us including the cost benefit for our clients, quick and easy viewing and eventblogging. We are also very aware of the limitations of digital at this point and as much of our style has evolved from both black and white film, as well as techniques such as cross-processing, we haven’t given up shooting good ol’ film either.

I left school in 1991 aged 18 and traveled to Tibetan India to teach English at a small, remote refugee settlement and monastery in the Himalayas. Using the Zenit and a Nikon, given on my 18th birthday, I began to explore the humanist themes in photography which first drew me to the medium.
More visits to the village and India followed until the last in 1997 when, aged 24, I graduated with a Ba Honours degree in photography, established my first studio base in Nottingham and began planning my first solo exhibition, ………
