- Live action . Wedding photographers can now view images live, and rephotograph key moments, if needed. Bridal couples have the ability to view the images on location and request new or different poses to their liking. After all, creating images that people want to buy is what wedding photography is all about!
- Ease of use . While there is medium format digital equipment on the market, many photographers have switched over to 35mm SLR camera style which is much easier to handle and operate. If you have ever used a Hasselblad or twin lens reflect camera, the advent of a 35mm style alternative is a god send!
- Technical hurdles reduced . The ease of use with most of the digital cameras on the market has enabled wedding photographers to incorporate additional shooters. - Reduction in cost . Film photographers still in the market are saddled with the additional expense of proof prints. Some wedding photographers only work in the digital realm, meaning they shoot the wedding and deliver a compact disc to the bridal couple. For wedding couples on a tight budget, they get the images at a reduced rate and can print the images they want, from the photofinisher of their choosing. While this arrangement does not produce high revenues, it is viable option for photographers that shoot multiple weddings on a single day and do not want to hassle of post processing of digital images.
