My aim with the site was for me to share all the tips and tricks I was starting to learn about photography with everyone else too – ‘learning the light’ together (although that sounds a little bit pretentious…!).

I have really enjoyed sharing things I have learnt with others, writing tutorials and guides about the things that I have found the most useful – and the positive feedback and comments I have received from readers has been fantastic; it’s really kept me motivated to keep adding fresh content to the blog.

Although I perhaps feature photos of my dog a bit too much, and my photography in general is perhaps biased towards portraiture (I just love taking photos of people and animals!), I try to keep adding tips and tricks that should be helpful for really any kind of photography.”
