City Daily Photo Rocks

Is your photography stuck in a rut? Having a hard time getting motivated to photograph? Start a photo a day project online! While anyone can start a photo a day project with great success, perhaps the largest such project is City Daily Photo.

The City Daily Photo project quickly transformed from a one man project to photographically document his city on a daily basis, into a world wide movement involving hundreds of photographers. [At the time of this writing, City Daily Photo appears to be experiencing server issues]

Listed below, we have featured several North American photo blogs from the project. [I have spot checked this list for current and active sites. Let me know if you find any dead links. Thanks]

Laurent François, when he does not lead the Paris 360° Digital influence hub for France, shoots & photoblogs around here. He’s part of the French crew called “Butterfly Collectif” and has some on-going projects (both “Web 2.0″ & pure classic). Do not hesitate to get in touch with me.

One year in 40 seconds – time-lapse photography

One year in 40 seconds from Eirik Solheim on Vimeo.

I love great photography projects and “One year in 40 seconds” is definitely one of the better time-lapse photography videos I’ve seen in a while. The dedication required to complete a project of this type is quite impressive. Kudos to photographer Eirik Solheim for this tremendous piece of art!
