“When I have my camera with me, I notice the world is full of interesting people and things.  It makes me appreciate the world a little more instead of focusing on where I am supposed to be and when. Maybe everyone should walk around with a camera.  Maybe there’ll be less war.  Or maybe there will just be more people walking around aimlessly looking for a picture to take.

I’m been photographing the streets and subways of New York City and elsewhere for the last few years. I’m not wedded to any particular camera or lens but I really love my rangefinder and my Ricoh GRD-III.  The majority of my pictures focus on Brooklyn, and in particular, Flatbush Avenue.  It’s the main bloodline of Brooklyn, full of interesting character and diversity.”

“In the past I worked on Blue Flower project for my other blog. For Zcaptures I have ideas for new projects. First I have to improve my photography skills. Eventually I will find my own style. My dream is one day I will have my own exhibition at Guggenheim or MOMA. Don’t laugh! When I moved to NYC nine years ago. I worked hard and still I’m working harder. I believe if someone really wants to achieve something, eventually he will. I hope my will come truth in the near future. Wish me luck!”
