“I’m from Texas but I’ve lived in lots of places. Currently, I live in Troy, NY where I am finishing up graduate work at a local university. I have been struggling with the idea of photography in sculpture and what it means for the 2-dimensional to interact equally with the 3-dimensional.”

“What fascinates me is the way a distant memory looks and feels in contrast to the crispness of yesterday. I explore how occurrences long past intermingle with other happenings; real, imagined or even overheard. I use photographic imagery for its historic, wide-spread use as a documentary medium and incorporate it in constructed environments as a way to connect familiar experiences.”
