I’m a photographer. Simple. When something is worth shooting, I shoot it. My philosophy is not complicated; if I am going to take a picture, I want it to be the best picture that it can possibly be. No matter the subject matter, the same principle applies. That is my purpose. That is my goal.

I’m an urban explorer, traveler, wedding photographer, photojournalist, portrait photographer, concert photographer, event photographer…the list goes on. The diversity of my photograph reflects my own diversity. Whether I am shooting a family portrait, engagement photos, convert, or exploring an abandoned building, I want to leave with a set of stunning photos. My abilities include, but are mot limited to the following:

  • Events
  • Engagements & Weddings
  • Family Portraits
  • City & Street Life
  • Urban Exploration & Decay
  • Travel
  • Fine Art Prints & Commissioned Work

I am a photographer from Brooklyn, New York. I am currently working on a long-term project on the landscape of Long Island called Outer Lands.

My weblog about landscape photography is called Third Nature. The term “third nature” refers to the intersection of art and the natural world. I also maintain a Tumblr called Photo Reads that links frequently to interesting articles about photography and art.

I am also a web developer and have created a WordPress template for artists and photographers called Portfolio. I am available on a freelance basis for consultation and technical support.

Radmila Ladyzhinskaya is a full-time professional photographer from New York. She was born in Russia, and received her degree in Psychology there. Love for photography has begun since her childhood and developed as a hobby. In 1996, Radmila began her successful photography business initially as a portraitist.

When Radmila moved to NYC, she did not stop doing what she loves. In 2005, she was invited to an international team the Art of Inspiration which received widespread recognition for the large series of exhibitions worldwide. Her works have been exhibited in many exhibitions including the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. In 2007, she had a solo exhibition in New York City as a photojournalist.

The same year, Radmila completed wedding photography master classes. She had a unique opportunity to study with well-known European masters of photography-Sergei Novozhilov, Yervant, Igor Sakharov and Viktor Ivanovsky.

Radmila closely watches the latest world tendencies in wedding photography, always raising her professional level. She is a member of WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International), ISPWP (International Society of Wedding Photographers) and she often takes part in prestigious international wedding photography competitions, where her works take winning spots. Radmila’s work has been extensively published, including magazine covers.

She believes that wedding photography is a space for artistic development and expression. It is also an enormous responsibility and the photographer must “stop the time” and capture the fleeting, unforgettable moments, which will make you happy for many years to come.

Radmila will always inquire about any special requests and wishes of the couple before the wedding. She believes that each couple deserves an individual approach.

Everything that she has achieved, Radmila credits to her husband Alexander for his continuing inspiration, support and encouragement in all undertakings. Alexander has graduated from an Art School in Russia, and took Master Classes along with Radmila.

“I’m from Texas but I’ve lived in lots of places. Currently, I live in Troy, NY where I am finishing up graduate work at a local university. I have been struggling with the idea of photography in sculpture and what it means for the 2-dimensional to interact equally with the 3-dimensional.”

“What fascinates me is the way a distant memory looks and feels in contrast to the crispness of yesterday. I explore how occurrences long past intermingle with other happenings; real, imagined or even overheard. I use photographic imagery for its historic, wide-spread use as a documentary medium and incorporate it in constructed environments as a way to connect familiar experiences.”
