Hadar started his professional photography career over eight years ago working as a photojournalist for the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC. His extensive list of photojournalistic portraits includes famous political figures such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Joe Lieberman, Donald Rumsfeld and Binyamin “Bibi” Netanyahu (Prime Minister of Israel). His images were published in well-known world wide publications such as Jerusalem Post.
Shortly thereafter, Hadar started applying his unobtrusive photojournalistic style and attention to detail to wedding and event photography. Hadar is a member of Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and in 2008 won an Accolade of Excellence in the “Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition”…hadar goren photography

“When most people hear the word ‘portrait’ they cringe, thinking about all those stiff family group shots they were forced into, full of fake smiles and formal poses…..After shooting my own family for years I came to see that the most loved photographs, the ones that brought back the most memories & emotions, were never the ones where everyone was looking at the camera, they were the ones that showed us laughing, scowling, and being ourselves. It seems so simple, but it really is magic when you can capture a family being a ‘family’; messy, silly, moody, and above all, connected.” rebecca murphy photography
