“Roaming the streets of London where everyday you see 1001 things worth a picture. It’s a fantastic city to take pictures of.

I am a photo enthusiast living in London, UK. I take pictures of people in streets, strange situations and all things coming along in London.

Through extensive traveling I collected plenty of great travel photographs showing the beauty of Asia, the Americas, Africa and Europe.”

“People are what interest me. Some of them I know, most of them I don’t. But they all have their own story and that’s why I love to photograph them.

My passion is street photography – trying to react to, capture and create stories out of things that unfold in front of me.”

Snapping Point is the London based photoblog of Danny Horner. Featured on the site is a sample of the photographs he has taken since the summer of 2000, which is roughly the time he started thinking about photography as something more than just an aide-memoire. He shot on film until 2005 when he abandoned ship in favour of the ease of digital; and hasn’t really been back since.”

“He’s guessing that probably much less than 1% of the photographs he has taken, and continues to take, will make it on here. Those that do will be drip fed onto the site with no mind for chronology, so that recent photos will, sometimes, sit next to ones several years old.”

“Although he would describe himself, if you asked, as nothing more than a hobbyist he was paid real money to do the photography for this music video.

“Some vaguely technical information for those interested, Danny has owned and used, in roughly this order: an Olympus OM-10, a Lomo LC-A, a Sigma SA-7, several one-use disposables, a Polaroid SX-70, a Canon G6 and a Nikon D40. With all the images appearing here, whether film or digital, optimization and general tinkering has been done, if at all, with Photoshop Elements 6.”

“Danny Horner was born in 1974 and grew up in a home counties village. He moved to a city as soon as he was old enough to know how, and has spent all but the first few months of the 21st century residing in London, where he attempts to reconcile a thirst for creative perfection with a chronic and debilitating laziness.”

1 Love London | Scott Webb | London Ontario

1 Love London is about showing all aspects of London, Ontario in a creative form through this Photoblog.
I want this to become a good way for Londoners, as well as potential visitors, to be able to come network, share, and check out the city from a different perspective and share their love for London. Currently the only perspective is mine; however, I do plan to generate enough interest that I can extend the site into contributions from others. The sharing comes in the form of linking out, comments, adding photos to the flickr group. I know this will all evolve once it gets moving.

My name is Scott Webb and I was born and raised here in London, Ontario.

I used to feel that London Ontario sucked. I thought that it had nothing exciting, nothing interesting, and nothing important. That was until I picked up a camera. The camera, more specificly the DSLR, has allowed me to explore the City of London and capture what it has to offer.
