“Our fine arts were developed, their types and uses were established, in times very different from the present, by men whose power of action upon things was insignificant in comparison with ours. But the amazing growth of our techniques, the adaptability and precision they have attained, the ideas and habits they are creating, make it a certainty that profound changes are impending in the ancient craft of the Beautiful.”

“hi. my name is howard f. I’m from southern california. I’m a landscape architect, old camera collector, fan of vintage photos & iphone photography.

from my earliest vga camera phone to my current iphone, cellphone photography has been my way of keeping a diary & undumbing myself daily. image quality is not important, any camera mounted on a phone will do.

all photos here are captured with my iphone 3gs. I edit all my photos in-phone then posted to posterous, tumblr, fb, etc. via e-mail. I own many photo apps but find the simplest of apps work the best for me.”

“I am a professional photographer that holds a Fine Arts Degree in photography. I have too many cameras but at least two are always with me. I am in love with low-tech devices to take my images such as the iPhone. I have sadly abandoned film by try to make up for that by modifying digital cameras, mainly into pinhole cameras, to do the dirty work for me. I shoot from the gut and almost never stage a scene for the sake of a perfect image. I shoot everyday. I am still amazed, after many years of taking images, how a camera works and why it works….”
