“My name is Sean McKendall and I’m an self-taught photographer living Champaign, Illinois. I’ve always had an interest in photography, but it is only in recent years that I have thought to share my photos with a larger audience. Treeswing was created just for this purpose. I hope that you enjoy the photos I have on display here. If you have any comments or criticism about what you see, I’d definitely appreciate hearing them. Thanks for visiting and I hope you return soon.”

Kite Aerial Photography – Scott Haefner
Aerial photography is technically defined as the process of taking pictures from an elevated position. We normally assume that an aerial photographer will be using some type of aircraft to assist in recording these images. But a kite?
Scott Haefner is a professional photographer and web designer based in the San Francisco Bay area. He primarily shoots urban and scenic landscapes, as well as kite-lofted aerial photos.
At an International Kite Aerial Photography Conference in November 2002, Scott was recognized as the “Most Promising New KAPer.” In addition, Scott’s work has been published in numerous magazines, newspapers, and books, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, BBC News, Photo Techniques, and Photo District News, as well as specials on the Discovery and History Channels.
Asian Beauty by Italian Photographer Ruben Frosali – May 16, 2008
Welcome to the newest member of our growing photoblog community, Ruben Frosali and his photoblog, Really Japan. You will find his photographic style and image processing to be most interesting. Unique perspective from a fascinating locale.
My name is Ruben, I’m Italian but I’ve been living in Tokyo for almost two years now. I’ve always loved photography, however it was only when I bought my first SLR, a Nikon D80, and discovering how to take shots and use correctly the camera, that I really began to have fun taking photos.
I usually shoot at the end of a working day, coming back home, so I’m constantly struggling for fast lenses, even if I can’t invest so much money in that. I prefer to shoot decaying urban landscapes, air conditioners, pipes and small street.. that’s partly because I don’t feel confortable taking photos to people on the street (but I’m trying to improve) and partly because I LIKE this kind of subjects.
Traveler’s Photoblog – Pixog – May, 15, 2008
Welcome to Pixog, a traveling photoblog from Europe…
I’ve decided to join the masses and create a “Photoblog”, the only name left that was vaguely similar to this was “Pixog”. I enjoy taking pictures, but only ever view my efforts as amateurish, so I’ve decided to share some of my favourites with the world and see what you think!
So what do I use to take my pictures? Well it’s definitely nothing fancy, for all my older photos it’ll be my Samsung Digimax A6, and for any photos taken after February 08 it’ll be my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3. Both your bog standard tourist cameras I’m afraid.
Dallas based children’s photographer, Urban Photo, Toni Elmer – April 27, 2008

Toni has a great sense of design as well of photographic mastery. Her image compositions are fresh and the subjects she photographs look very comfortable in front of the camera. Her use of color is also exceptional. Overall great site!!
