Colorzilla is a beast

If you do any web design or Photoshop work, you understand the importance of finding precise html color. I’ve used Pixie by Nattyware for years, however, since discovering Colorzilla..a Firefox plugin…I have officially made the switch!

Colorzilla installs in seconds (with browser restart)..and extremely easy to use. Simply right click to display the menu, zoom in if needed, and click on the location of the color info needed.

Listed below is a snapshot of the menu presented by right clicking…….

Top Firefox Extensions saved my life

Top Firefox Extensions saved my life. Running a photography blog requires managing multiple screens at the same time on confined screen real estate, which can be a major headache. However, being the Firefox lover that I am, using Firefox extensions greatly simplifies my workflows. Whether you need to “borrow” an image to use in a article, research keyword values, or check to see if you made enough AdSense coin to buy a cup of joe, Firefox add-ins allow you to perform most of these tasks on the fly.

While playing with Photoshop this morning, I decided to share my top Firefox extensions and used the Slice Tool to link to each download page. This is my first attempt at using the Photoshop Slice Tool, so work with me on this one. Clicking on the image below will bring you to the page I created with the slices.

Hope you find this information useful! If you have any Slice Tools tips, I’d love to hear them.
