Social bookmarking is not only a great way to gain exposure for your site, but also a way for bloggers to build a tremendous reference library. Since photography blogging is my thing, I have the need to save great content for later use, or go back to reference an old post or photograph. However, I often find social bookmarks do not do the job I need, since much of my material is visual. Enter Evernote. Web surfing does consume a large amount of my time, but I console myself with the fact that I often do find great web tools which can streamline workflows.
Evernote “allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere.” What exactly does that mean? Well, I could ramble on about Evernote features, but it’s much easier to check out this cool video!
You can bet I’m downloading the Evernote Firefox plugin today! Whenever I think I’ve found a great idea and would like to get a little affirmation…Compete it! As you can quickly see, I am not alone in my praise for this awesome web tool. By the looks of things, Evernote is on the fast track to start-up glory. Give it a try and let me know if you find it helpful in your endeavors.
