Great photography blog, Light-Opinion, based in Rome, Italy. Awesome collection of color and black and white photographs. I was particularly impressed with the wide variety of imagery this photographer produces. The landscapes are well composed with a unique perspective, no postcard feel here. The portraits display an unique blend of journalistic and editorial style…and a great eye for character studies. While color and black & white images are presented, the color is only used where color is needed to make the image..I’ve always had a soft spot for b & w photography, and Light-Opinion is spot-on with tonal range..black blacks, white whites, detail in shadows, and proper contrast control.

Here is a brief excerpt from the photographer’s bio…“Born in 1976, somewhere in Italy, at dinner time (more or less). I’m currently living in Rome. My first camera was a twenty-year old (and more than 1kg-heavy) Miranda and I do still prefer b/w photos printed on high-contrast paper so, please, don’t ask me why I’ve set up a photoblog.I hope someone will be so kind to explain me what “light opinion” means.
