The two person team of Belize based photographers Colette Kase and Maya Papovic take photography in paradise to the next level. Their studio, Conch Creative, specializes in destination wedding, fashion / glamour and commercial photography. With an eye for detail and creative flair, the resulting images are engaging, fun and just plain awesome.
We recently had the opportunity to catch up with Colette to discuss her photography business and life as a photographer in paradise…

Tony Rath is a professional photographer based along shores of the Caribbean Sea in the picturesque town of Dangriga, Belize.
Born in Ohio and raised in Minnesota, Tony has a varied background including flying in the US Air Force, UDT/SEAL military training, diving on oil rigs off California and captaining a sailboat across the Atlantic Ocean and through the Mediterranean and North Seas. He is a trained marine biologist and has worked as a diver and underwater photographer for the Smithsonian Institution.
Tony first visited Belize in 1979, and moved permanently there in 1987. Since then he has explored and photographed most of Belize by land, sea and air. He has also photographed the neighboring countries of Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico.
He founded, along with his wife Therese, Naturalight Productions, Belize’s premiere Internet marketing company. He still heads the special projects division of the company. The company created and manages numerous award winning websites such as BelizeNet.com, Belize.net – a search engine dedicated to Belize, BelizeanJourneys.com – a bi-weekly online magazine and the Belize Tourism Board’s official website, TravelBelize.org.
