Only picking up the camera 2 years ago, 20 (b. 1988) year old fashion photographer Zhang Jingna (a.k.a. zemotion) already has a loyal fanbase on the Internet with over 7 million views of her work on community art site deviantART. Her popularity has not been a result of chance, but through steadfast effort in developing her own unique vision, producing hundreds of works in that short period of time.
Since receiving her first digital SLR camera as a gift on her 18th birthday, Jingna’s growing professional portfolio already includes international companies, like Ogilvy & Mather Advertising (Taiwan) for Mercedes Benz, Architecture International and Wacom, She has also produced fashion editorial work in magazines like Harpers Bazaar, Beauty BlackBook, Men’s folio and Project:Smitten.
In 2007, she was awarded Singapore Master Photographer of the Year by the Masters Photographers Association. At 19, she was also the youngest-ever recipient of the Associateship in the Master Photographers Association.
