Free Links and Publicity for all! In my never ending quest to have the best photoblog community, I have a great idea for a mini-project and need your help.

• What is your great idea? Well, I have this idea of putting together a photo album of photographer self-portraits. Linked to each self-portrait will be a page just for you, created by you. Are you still with me? This link can be directed to your existing “About” page or you can create a new post about yourself. The length of the post does not concern me, only that it gives the viewing public some background information and insight into your photography. In a nutshell, this is your personal Press Release to the world. Everyone is interested in increasing their following and driving more traffic to their site. Here is a perfect opportunity.
• How does it work? There are (3) simple steps.
  1. Each photoblogger will email your self-portrait to me or direct me to where I can find the image you wish to use (simply right click on a published picture and send the link location). The published size will be 125×125.
  2. You can create a new post or use an existing page about yourself.
  3. Send the page link information along with your photo or photo link to me, and I’ll handle the rest.
• How much does it cost? Here’s the beauty of the plan…It’ll cost you absolutely nothing, zero, nill, ziltch … The only requirement is your participation.
• How long will this project last? Technically, to be titled as a project, there should be a start and stop date. However, if the PMP’s of the world don’t mind, I will bend the rules a bit. This project will start immediately, with an open end date. I would hate to prevent anyone from participating since participation is what I am looking for.
• When will this page be displayed? As the submissions start rolling in, I will begin to publish them within a few days. Once the album page has been created, I will add a link to the navigation bar at the top of the page. Upon receipt of your submission, I will send a confirmation email letting you know I have received your link information. If there is any problem with your submission, I will make every attempt to contact you.
