“When I shoot people in the street, I somehow feel like they belong to me when I look at my photographs afterward. I have complex mental relationships with people who probably don’t even know I exist, just because I photographed them and that makes them mine. I don’t see the same things when I look through the lens… which is why I like to shoot anything and everything.”
“I am originally from the United States but I have been living in Paris for the last 6 years. The French make me laugh, they are so complicated yet endearing. I am a professional photographer and I have been shooting film since I was 10 years old, but what I love about Tumblr is being able to post the “non-book” shots.”

I am a photographer before and I can relate with what you said. As we go through our pictures that we have captured we can feel that we are connected with it. I express my feelings through photography and sometimes paint some of it.

As Laura says, when you make a picture, you connect with it. Taking a picture of a building or a person, it’s like you own it! I can’t really describe the feeling, but I know what you’re talking about!
