Being the coffee snob that I am, the slow demise of the Starbucks universe pains me greatly. While looking for photography taken in Starbucks to pay homage to the lost empire, I stumbled across (no, not StumbleUpon) Reformissionary , a blog by Steve K McCoy. In this blog, he was proudly discussing his photo exhibit at a local Starbucks. In describing the success of his showing, he spoke about the success of his MOO cards.
Ok, my interest was piqued. What the heck is MOO? MOO creates customized paper products using the images you provide. As the people at MOO put it:
So we made MiniCards. Little cards - about half the size of a business card - with your own photos, designs and text on. Made in boxes of 100 with the option of having a different image on every one.
What a great idea for creating a buzz! Steve attests to the popularity of these cards, "They are already more than half gone after two days (I think I put out 100)!"
So if you’re working on the self-promotion campaign once again, or just looking to create some attention for your company, take a look at MOO products.
