I’m Reginald Balanga, 22, from La Union, Philippines. I currently live in Regina, SK with my wife Elza and my son Renard.

Lostphotograph is a photoblog, created in 2006 and later restarted on 2007 (because of my migration to Pixelpost). The photos showcased are mostly from Baguio City and La Union, Philippines. The photos herein range from some decent ones and some that aren’t. My main purpose in sharing my photos is to collect valuable criticism and insight for my photos that can help me be a better photographer.

Photography is quite new for me but my interest in photographs dates back even further when I was a child. The pictures on our multi-volume children’s encyclopedia are the first images to inspire me. I went on with my grade school and high school years without a camera and still not learning photography but I had a feeling I would someday own one. In my early college years, graphic design opened me up to digital photography. I soon had my first camera. It was a Sony compact camera with 3.0 megapixels and I enjoyed using it, but unfortunately, it was stolen only after a few days it was bought. I was furious, but the incident also became my burning fuel to persue photography with vengeance.

Right now, I consider photography as a hobby and just a fun way to express myself and document the world…lost photography
