Based on the need to better organize what I’m doing, what I’ve done, what I want to do, and what I need to do, ilovephotoblogs “LAB” was born.
The “LAB” is powered by pbwiki , which offers free wikis with nice assortment of features, as well as enhanced wiki features for an additional fee. Since I am on a limited budget, I decided to start out with the free stuff first. I first was introduced to this site from a classmate while we were working on a team project. If you have never used a wiki for personal use, I highly recommend you check it out. This is not a paid endorsement, just an honest opinion. Much like a blog, wikis are easy to set up but also allow you to be selective in who views your site, if you seek a level of privacy. I have chosen to make mine public.
What do you hope to accomplished with the LAB wiki?
Organize! Since I am currently a one man operation, the need to keep focused is a must. There was also a need to compile past work/revisions, in addition to future planning. Every hour, I have a new idea about a feature or changed needed. This wiki is quick an dirty and allows me to ability to quickly record or reference these thoughts.
Final thoughts on the LAB
Not sure if anyone cares to read the LAB section, but thought you just might be interested. If you have any comments about this new section, drop me a line! I’d love to hear from you.
