Bio

1st point-and-shoot camera – 1980 aged 8

Zenit Em SLR camera – 1984 aged 12

I left school in 1991 aged 18 and traveled to Tibetan India to teach English at a small, remote refugee settlement and monastery in the Himalayas. Using the Zenit and a Nikon, given on my 18th birthday, I began to explore the humanist themes in photography which first drew me to the medium.
More visits to the village and India followed until the last in 1997 when, aged 24, I graduated with a Ba Honours degree in photography, established my first studio base in Nottingham and began planning my first solo exhibition, ………

While putting together the frames for ´Manduwala´ I was living in a flat below musicians and DJs who encouraged me to become involved with the music press. International commissions quickly began to come in………………

After ten years of music photography, (with around 60 international and 600 U.K. commissions undertaken), this work is being prepared for book and exhibition under the mentorship of magnum photographer David Alan Harvey. I am also digitally archiving my past work and lecture photography to undergraduates in my hometown. I´m currently located in Norway, where ……….
