Cute Wildlife Photos

brown rat Cute Wildlife Photos picturesIn photography, nothing is more endearing than cute wildlife photos. I could post puppy photos all day long, but what fun would that be to the rest of the world?

Listed below are several sites showcasing cuddly animals found in the wild, many of these images were actually “backyard wildlife” photos. One of my favorite images is the one of the brown rat. Yes, even rats need a lil’ love.

  1. wow, nice closed up. I love this pic, it reminds me of some hamsters I have before.

  2. Looks like the squirrel is drinking from a fountain.

  3. Has anyone ever heard about the wild Chincoteague Ponies or Misty the Pony?

  4. The wild ponies on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. Long ago a shipwrecked Spanish galleon sank just off of the coast of this barrier island. The horses that were on the ship made it to shore and the rest is history. Miniature ponies that are all around. Check it out on the net.

  5. O yeah, Misty was the most famous of all of the ponies because of a movie that was made about her and her owner.

  6. Which leads me to tell you that you should also read about the “Pony Swim” that is held each year. The Salt Water Cowboys round these ponies up, swim them from one island to the other, parade them down the main street to the carnival grounds where they auction them off later to raise a huge amount of money that supports the Chincoteauge Island Volunteer Fire Company. WOW!

  7. I have so many hamster I didn’t manage to name them all. I have to buy so many cages to put them in.

  8. Chris and Lucy. I couldn’t tell them apart.

  9. I didn’t have a clue but there were no babies so I assume that they were either both the same sex. Maybe they just didn’t get along. Ha!

  10. And they might have still had a thing for each other. I don’t know much about gay mice!
