I’ve finally done it..After years with the trusty Domke F-2 Original camera bag by my side, I’ve traded her in for a Crumpler 8 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag. Kind of a crazy name for a camera bag, but I just love it. A few years back I purchased a Crumpler laptop bag…it looked cool, had great colors and a wonderful design…and had put off getting their camera bag since I loved my Domke bag. However, change is good and this is a fantastic bag.

One of the first things you will love about this bag is the Velcro Silencer technology. There’s nothing worse then needing to open a Velcro secured side pocket during a quiet event.

Styling. The 8 Million Dollar Bag looks great and comes in several colors…not just black or tan.

Exterior. Water resistant shell, with a large and very comfortable adjustable/removable strap.

Interior. My needs in a camera bag have changed over the years. No more Pentax 6×7′s , assortment of lens and blocks of film. Today, I need room for my netbook, DSLR, memory cards, and chargers. The interior is this bag offers great padding with numerous configurable dividers, plastic stiffening layer in base to hold it’s shape, and an adjustable removable 13″ laptop sleeve.

Overall. While I will probably keep my Domke around for sentimental reasons, the Crumpler 8 Million Dollar Camera Bag is awesome.  This bag is meets the demands of today’s photographer; easily configurable, great styling, and extremely functional and durable.
