Just stumbled across a link to one of my favorite portrait photographers – Christopher Wray-McCann. Love the use of black and white, and how natural the models appear in each of his images!

“He has worked with most of the major recording labels, creating portraits and album artwork for artists like the Eagles, Cypress Hill, Lou Reed, Eminem, Gomez, The Dixie Chicks, Maroon 5, and Los Lobos among others.   A collection of his rock and roll photos titled ” Midnight Miles” was published by Simon and Schuster in 2006.

Wray-McCann compares photography to cooking, believing that the essence of both depends on bringing together the best ingredients.

Currently Wray-McCann is currently finishing up an album called “Operation Aloha” which is slated for release on May 12th, 2009.”
