Yes, I made it back from my annual New York City Christmas shopping excursion and what a great time it was. Got a lot of photo blog material, but my camera batteries died prematurely and so limited to only 150 images. As predicted, the family quickly tired of my photo taking, but continued to press on with my photographic voyage anyway. I was amazed at how many people you can get on a sidewalk!..If there’s a recession going on in this country, New York City is not to blame. Talk about crowds! Whoa..Since I traveled via bus, traffic was not a major concern.
Here is my first attempt at a Flick Photostream (username: ilovephotoblogs)
Some great takeaways from the New York City shopping/photo day trip:
- Daughter got to check out Parsons – The New School for Design & Mood’s fabric store
- Got 150 + images of New York City
- Went to all the marque stores you would want to see
- Didn’t buy a thing, personally (besides, food and drinks)… left shopping to the wife and kids
- Oh, and learned that only paying $60 for a 20 hour round trip ticket to New York City is not a great deal if you are seated in front of blue-haired, non-bus driver tipping, cheap, snoring, loud-talking, cranky, complaining, church going parish hating, old ladies!….I’ll take my chances driving next time!

Love your weblog. I have bookmarked it!
