To celebrate ILovePhotoblogs.com’s 2-year anniversary, it’s time for a giveaway! I thought it would be fun to celebrate with some free money for you! I’m giving away an Amazon.com $50 gift card!
Fun Ways to Shop Amazon
Amazon.com is one of my favorite online retailers. When I don’t know what I’m looking for, a couple of my favorite ways to shop Amazon are:
- Camera, Photo & Video
Customize your photo equipment search to find the perfect item for your specific photographic needs. This is often a great way to find popular items recently placed on sale. You can narrow it by category to find exactly what you are looking for.
- Bestsellers
This list is updated hourly to show the most popular items. It’s a great place to start when you want to buy a gift for that someone special or just yourself.

My resolution for 2010 is not to buy a new gear and use mine until I really need something else.
I’ve always wanted to take portraits, me thinks more fashion portraits that is. I started a personal blog not too long ago and as I continue, the blog turned into fashion and photography (including landscape, architecture, interior design and some hdri) blog. For me, I cannot separate the two so I decided to do both.
What I’m planning to do this year is ask more of my friends to pose for me (like fashion models do!) and in return will give him/her a copy in CD. I did this once (or twice) last year but it didn’t really progress as I got busy with something else and I wasn’t that motivated.
Well, I’m very optimistic. I know a lot of good things will happen this year (”,)

I plan on putting together a book on what it means to be a blind photographer.
I am doing a Project 52 (1 photo a week), and my chosen theme is “Brisbane Landmarks”. I live and work in Brisbane, Australia and I thought it would be nice to share some of the cities highlights with the world! You can check it out on my photography blog
I need to make a photobook of my knitting projects for this year!

do 365 days on my photoblog!
Keep working on my zazzle store ( http://www.zazzle.com/ansel51 ) as a second income stream. I’ve already incorporated a lot of greeting cards from the Zazzle store as matching gift cards for prints I offer.
But on top of that, Zazzle has turned out to be a good way of bringing traffic to my own main site ( http://www.BeckermanPhoto.com ) and I highly recommend that other photographers give it a try as it is free, and there’s nothing to lose but your own time (which I admit is something).
Have a great year everyone.

Woohoo – I SO love Amazon!! Thanks for such a great giveaaway!! I have BIG plans for 2010. My husband has been gone for 20 months (military) and he just came home recently, so we have LOTS of family pictures to make up for with our four year old son. My husband bought me a new Canon Rebel for Christmas so I can’t WAIT to snap away!!
Well, my photographic project for 2010 is to continue publishing 24 photography books a year. I aim to sell as many of them as possible, and help photographers across the globe with hundreds of the best instructional photography books on the planet!

My photo project for 2010 is to thoot and post 4 photo stories on http://ben-sy.com. I like this project because it forces you to extend your creativity beyond the single shot into a series to tell a story. It also forces you to be consistent in your post processing to give a sense of continuity.
To make albums for my own kids instead of just for other peoples kids! You know what they say about the cobblers children having no shoes…..
Will be visiting Cambodia and Laos soon so my photo project is to put together a book of photos of both scenery and the daily lives of the locals. Can’t wait!
