….of motherhood musings, daily inspirations and mainly PHOTOGRAPHS. I am new to the world of blogging, but after hanging up my professional actor/singer/dancer hats and hitching up with a man, giving birth to our baby girl and cozying down with a mortgage and car payments, my life is screaming for some creative spice! I want to commit to this online journal as a way of documenting my life as a new mother and to give sneak peeks at some of my latest photo sessions.

Her Morning Elegance Her Morning Elegance in 2096 single pieces pictures

It has been said before that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. A truly remarkable example of this is The “Her Morning Elegance” photo gallery, an innovative concept coming from Israel; it is the first project of its kind. The music video “Her Morning Elegance” was groundbreaking from day one. A stop motion video nominated for a music video GRAMMY and has over 20 million hits on YouTube. Its fresh new visual language immediately got recognition on prestigious stages such as the Cannes festival and Pompidou Center.

There are 2096 prints like this one but none like it!

After the video was created, the artists decided to take the project to the next level by breaking the video apart into individual frames. Each frame was printed once and will never be printed again. This is the first time a video clip has been broken into pieces and presented as individual, unique independent pieces of art.

Hundreds of people, collectors, photography fans and art lovers from over 30 different countries already own a piece of “Her Morning Elegance”; a unique print that no one else has.

The project launched in a Los Angeles art gallery and has since grown into an online community. All 2096 pieces are being shown interactively online and those that were already sold are marked to let people know they are no longer available. On Facebook, the artists are asking print owners to send in photos of the piece they bought hanging on its wall. “I’m a photographer based in the UK that likes to do social documentary. Much of the work on my blog is street photography with a dashes of public events and some commercial work. Although I have only had a camera for a year and a half my pictures have made it on the Guardian website and newspaper (I’m particularly proud of my riot pictures) and have won a couple of competitions.”

Lee Welton is a photographer based in London and Southend, Essex specialising in commercial, events, press, documentary and street photography.
