“I am a former Veterinary Technician and Dog Trainer with 30 years experience as a professional photographer. In the early years I worked in the photographic specialties of fashion, photojournalism, weddings/events, school portraits, child/family portraits, model portfolios and of course pet photography.

About ten years ago I made a decision to fuse my animal care knowledge and experiences with my photography and I began to specialize in Pet Photography exclusively. By combining my talent and passion with entrepreneurial skills, I built a pet photography business that eventually employed my personally trained staff of Pet Photographers in several states providing pet photography services at pet business locations throughout the Northeast.

Beginning in the early 2000s as a partner at Pet One Photo Corp., my staff and I photographed pets in hundreds of PetSmart and PETCO stores across the country. In Jan 2006 I left Pet One to pursue a more independent vision.I founded Pets Photography Studio and contracted with PETCO to provide exclusive pet photography services for all their stores in the NY, NJ, CT area, a total of 75 stores. In 2010, we changed our affiliation and began shooting at the Pet Supplies Plus chain of stores in NY, NJ, CT and PA.

I also have a Pet Photography studio in West Hempstead, NY. I am one of the country’s most prolific and sought after Pet Photographers. To date, I have photographed over 70,000 pets in 30 states.

I am a member of Long Island Pet Professionals, the founder of the Pet Photography School of New York and current President of the Professional Pet Photographers of America association. I am the NY Pet Photography writer for Examiner.com. Aside from the day to day Pet Photography, I give Pet Photography related seminars and workshops, offer charity work to rescue shelters,and attend pet fairs and expos. I am usually available for speaking engagements and charity fundraisers with advance notice. “
